About this event

This two day field mapping course will examine a outcropping epithermal vein system on the Coromandel Peninsula. The aim of this course is to collect meaningful data to understand the structural and kinematic data of this vein system. Participants will learn practical skill of collecting and interpreting structural data using compass and phone app.

The course should appeal to geologists working in both exploration and mine environments, as well as students.

*Registrants will be required to bring their own food and book their own accommodation.
