Energy transition a key focus of 2023 Iron Ore conference program

How do we transition to a green future while still exporting the high-grade iron ore for which Australia is known?

This years' Iron Ore conference program aims to find out.

The conference theme: 'transitioning to a green future' is woven throughout the program with keynote presentations addressing decarbonisation of the iron and steel supply chain; an interactive panel discussion reviewing 'The green iron and steel transition for Pilbara iron ores'; and paper presentations that address the challenges of iron ore as we prepare for a green future.

The program also explores broader themes including automated technologies,  AI, machine learning and autonomous operations. As well as a showcase of leading best practice across the supply chain on topics such as exploration and geology, processing, mining operations and geometallurgy.
