Proudly sponsored by Harmony Australasia, the symposium will feature a presentation from Sarah Purdom, Exploration Geologist at Harmony Australasia.
Drawing on her experience across both the developing Eva Copper Project in Queensland and the operating CSA Mine in New South Wales, Sarah will share insights into geology and exploration across two very different mining environments. Her experience spanning project development and an established underground operation provides a unique perspective on the role of exploration throughout the mining lifecycle.
The event will also provide a forum for professionals at all career stages to engage with peers from a wide range of disciplines and build meaningful industry connections.

Sarah Purdom
Following university, Sarah joined Harmony's greenfields Eva Copper Project, where she worked across the Roseby Copper Corridor in north-west Queensland. Her work focused on understanding the region's 1.7-billion-year geological history and supporting exploration programs that contributed to growing the Eva Copper Project resource as it progressed towards development.
Sarah is currently based at the CSA Mine in New South Wales, where she is part of a 2.5-year drilling program targeting previously untested areas of the orebody. Her experience across both the developing Eva Copper Project and the long-operating CSA Mine provides a unique perspective on the role of exploration at different stages of the mining lifecycle.
