Alison Muir

Head of Strategic Relationships, AusIMM

Alison Muir is Head of Strategic Relationships at AusIMM and an experienced engagement professional with a background spanning the mining, energy, corporate, communications, business ownership and not-for-profit sectors. Her career includes stakeholder engagement and social performance roles with Thiess and ATCO, where she led community programs, industry partnerships and stakeholder engagement initiatives across the resources and energy industries primarily in Western Australia.

Passionate about building trusted relationships and creating shared value, Alison is recognised for her ability to connect people, ideas and opportunities to deliver meaningful outcomes. She has extensive experience facilitating strategic conversations and fostering collaboration across industry, government, academia and the broader resources ecosystem.

Alison has completed executive studies in Managing Partnerships and Strategic Alliances through INSEAD and has a particular interest in ecosystem leadership, strategic relationships and the role of collaboration in shaping the future of the global resources sector.
