Andrea Maxey is Vice President of Investor Relations, Communication & ESG at AngloGold Ashanti plc, where she leads investor engagement on ESG strategy and performance. Her practical insight into regional development and local participation comes from her time on AngloGold Ashanti’s Australia Region Leadership Team, where she held executive accountability for community relations, corporate affairs, and HR. With a foundation in resources journalism and qualifications in psychology, journalism, and applied finance, Andrea bridges ground-level social performance with capital market expectations. She is a former Director of both the Gold Industry Group and the Denver Gold Group.
