Danielle Martin

Co-Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Social Performance

Danielle Martin joined ICMM in September 2020. She is the Co-Chief Operating Officer and Director for Social Performance. Her key areas of focus include social practice improvement, community resilience, human rights and Indigenous Peoples and diversity, equity and inclusion. She also oversees the minerals resource governance and tax projects.

Danielle has previously worked in extractives for more than 20 years in the area of social performance, focusing on stakeholder engagement, community and economic development, and impact assessment and measurement. She has worked across a number of jurisdictions on projects and in communities in developed, transitional and developing economies.

She has an MA in Sustainable Development from the University of Sydney, and a BA Honours in Media and Communications, as well as certificates in economic development, executive leadership, public participation and management system auditing.
