Marion Guimard was appointed Senior Industry Specialist at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group, in 2023. Marion leads technical due diligence to support the IFC's financing of large-scale mining projects worldwide, ensuring rigorous asset evaluation and risk management. Prior to joining the IFC, Marion was in charge of strategy for mining companies, including Golden Star Resources and ArcelorMittal.  She also directed technical due diligence for private equity funds, including Polygon Partners (now Acasta) and La Mancha.

Marion studied at the École Nationale Supérieure de Géologie (France), the Colorado School of Mines (USA), and Imperial College London (UK).
