About this event

The AusIMM Tasmania Branch, GSA, AIG and Mineral Resources Tasmania are pleased to bring you the 16th Annual Tasmanian Geoscience Forum.

The purpose of this forum is to gather geoscientists in one place to share their progress in exploration, mining and research.

This event is for sharing geologically focused results and ideas and for learning more about geology, in particular the geology of Tasmania.

This year the event will return to the Paragon Theatre in sunny Queenstown Tasmania!

A range of field excursions will be offered on Friday 27 November (details to be confirmed). This includes a two-day excursion to Stanley and Rocky Cape, where participants can join for one or both days of this engaging tour of North-West Tasmania, led by Karen Orth. Additional field excursion options will be announced in due course.

Keep an eye out for details of a pre-conference technical workshop in Queenstown on Wednesday 25 November - to be announced.
