Can commercial condition monitoring equipment help your production?

1
PD Hours

This webinar will explore one avenue of utilising condition monitoring equipment outside of its normal use.

About this event

This webinar poses the question, “Can commercial condition monitoring equipment help your production?” and examines this application beyond the obvious maintenance benefits.

By collecting data such as vibration, temperature and operating performance, condition monitoring sensors are designed to measure the health of machines and identify developing faults early.

When analysed effectively, this data can reduce downtime and improve maintenance planning, but could it also reveal valuable insights into wider plant performance, including process efficiency, energy usage, throughput and operational bottlenecks?

Hear from Marc Barraclough (Product Manager) as he shares practical insights from his experience working with condition monitoring technologies.

Product Manager
Multotec
I have been with Multotec for four years and currently serve as the Sensoteq Product Manager, a role I’ve held for nearly three years. With over 14 years in the mining industry, working across technical sales, mill liner design, area sales management, and product management. Beyond mining, my experience spans several other sectors, including computing (mainframe and desktop systems), logistics (as a WHM superuser, programmer, and warehouse efficiency SME), and retail. My background in electronics and computing laid the foundation for a strong technical understanding, while my mechanical aptitude comes from a lifetime of hands-on learning—thanks to my father. I’ve been fortunate to live and work around the world—in New Zealand, Victoria, Arnhem Land, and Queensland—and to travel extensively for both business and leisure. These experiences have shaped my ability to listen to customers, understand their needs, and deliver practical, effective solutions. A proud husband of 25 years and father of two, I bring a balanced perspective to my work. My diverse background allows me to confidently bridge the gap between electronics and mechanics, applying both skill sets to help customers achieve optimal performance and reliability.
