How is AI changing Mineral Resource estimation?

1
PD Hours

In this AusIMM Partner Webinar with SRK Consulting, Oliver Willetts MAusIMM(CP) will examine applications of AI throughout the estimation workflow, both within and outside commercial modelling software.

About this event

The session will consider the strengths and limitations of current commercial AI solutions, the questions practitioners should ask vendors, and the potential implications of agentic interaction between AI and modelling software. It will also explore what workflows that record their own decisions could mean for documentation, auditability and peer review. Attendees will gain a clearer view of where AI may support Mineral Resource estimation today and the areas that require continued professional scrutiny.
