The AusIMM New Zealand Branch Committee is pleased to announce that the 2026 Annual Conference will take place from 24 - 26 August 2026 at Rydges Rotorua, 10 Tyron Street, Whakarewarewa, Rotorua.

Deeply rooted in the Aotearoa context, our 2026 theme—Responsible resources, smarter decisions, and sustainable futures together—
reflects a commitment to the unique path of our local industry. We have focused this year’s programme on the technical and social pillars that define our future. This event is designed for those driving the industry forward, from researchers and explorers to operators, and new professionals. It offers a unique space for the minerals community and the next generation of students to connect, collaborate, and share the knowledge.
