Optimising Hard Rock Lithium Concentrators

1
PD Hours

Discover how hard rock lithium concentrator flowsheets can be optimised to improve recovery, concentrate quality and operational resilience as lithium markets, deposits and processing technologies continue to evolve.

About this event

Lithium remains a critical component of global battery supply chains, placing increasing focus on concentrator performance and the ability to maximise value from every tonne of ore. In this webinar, Robert Simmons from Sedgman will explore the practical design and operating considerations that influence hard rock lithium concentrator performance.

Drawing on experience from lithium projects across Australia and internationally, the session will examine key processing decisions including comminution strategy, screening and cyclone selection, fines generation, liberation and the relationships between particle size, recovery and concentrate grade.

Attendees will also gain insights into how technologies such as dense media separation, magnetic separation, flotation and emerging processing approaches can be adapted to suit different ore characteristics and product requirements.
