Webinar: Mining Leads on Climate Risk Reporting, but There’s Work To Do on Transition Plans

Join the Social and Environment Society for their November Webinar: Mining Leads on Climate Risk Reporting, but There’s Work To Do on Transition
Plans.

About this event

Extreme weather events, changing water availability, evolving energy systems and stakeholder expectations are reshaping the operating environment for the mining sector. While AASB S2 (Climate-related Disclosures) has prompted organisations to assess and disclose these risks, the real opportunity lies in using these insights to strengthen asset resilience and inform future planning.

Join Victoria Cross, Bahador Tari, Joel Hextall and Dr Tim Richards, our panel of mining and climate specialists, as they unpack key findings from first year S2 disclosures and explore how mining companies can translate climate risk insights into practical actions, from asset and infrastructure planning to transition strategy and operational resilience.
