In Person and Livestream tech talk: Future Underground Explosive Trends
Join the South West WA Branch and the AusIMM Mining Society for their In Person and Livestream tech talk: Future Underground Explosive Trends.
About this event
The South West WA Branch and the AusIMM Mining Society are delighted to present their June tech talk, that will cover future underground explosive trends and highlight opportunities for the explosives’ services in underground mining.
Explosive providers, such as Orica, need to offer a range of services to meet the need of modern deep underground mines. The rock breaking process has such a great leverage on the mining and liberation processes that services to maximise the opportunity and productivity are key to sustainable mining. Products that optimise the mining sequence and focus energy in key areas are revolutionising the industry. Services to streamline the operation, capture data, minimise delays and maximise the data use are key to optimising the blasting process.
This presentation will illustrate opportunities and case studies where mines are seeing benefits from fit for purpose products and services rather than focussing on the lowest unit cost.
