2026 Women in Mining Network NSW Mentoring Launch Event

Register now for the WIMnet NSW Mentoring Program Launch Event 2026! This event will include discussions on the program, goal setting, and networking opportunities.

About this event

Mentees, mentors and sponsors for the 2026 NSW Women in Mining Network are invited to attend the program launch on 30 April 2026. 

The events which attendees will participate in on the day will depend upon their registration as either a mentee, new mentor, returning mentor or sponsor.

Mentees are invited to attend from 10:00 am. Mentees will be given an opportunity to hear about the program, receive tips on how to be a mentee, learn how to set goals, network with other mentees, and have an opportunity for a professional headshot to be taken. Mentees will be offered an opportunity to exit the building in this period for lunch.

Mentors and new mentors are invited to attend from midday. Mentors will be given an opportunity to hear about the program, receive tips on how to mentor, and participate in a Q&A session, where seasoned mentors will share their experiences, how to trouble shoot common issues and adapt approaches to suit different mentee styles, personalities, career stages and goals. 

Returning mentors who are familiar with the structure of the program, may attend from 2:00pm to participate in the Q&A session and group photo. 

Sponsors are invited to attend from 3:00pm to join WIMNet NSW, mentees and mentors as we announce matches and commence group networking.
