Digital Tech Talk Overview

This is a high level talk that provides an overview of the sources of lithium, the processing of the ore to form concentrate and lithium chemicals. The talk addressed the idea that not all spodumene concentrates are the same and the challenges converters face. It will also comment briefly on the costs of producing products and the evolving specification of lithium chemicals for an increasingly more mature battery market.

Grant Harman is principal of Lithium Consultants Australasia a small consultancy based in West Perth.  Initially he worked for Talison Lithium and was Manager Lithium Chemicals and responsible for guiding the proposed lithium carbonate plant from Scoping Study through to Definitive Feasibility Study.  He has consulted on over 20 lithium projects across the world.
