Queensland's new Minerals Acceleration Program
The Queensland Government is investing over $19.8 million in a new Minerals Acceleration Program to help drive the next wave of mineral discovery and project development across the state.
The program will combine two initiatives, the Minerals Accelerator and the Development Accelerator, to support the minerals pipeline from exploration through to development.
The program is a key action in the recently released strategy, Delivering Queensland’s Critical Minerals Future 2026-30, a supports a priority focussed on faster project delivery.
By delivering new geoscience and geophysical data, reducing exploration uncertainty and helping address barriers to project progression, the program will support investment, strengthen regional economies and unlock opportunities in Queensland's highly prospective mineral provinces.
