AusIMM & Austmine GRX26 competition

Terms and conditions

The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) (ABN 59 836 002 494) and Austmine Limited (Austmine) (ABN 77 008 657 887), are the promoters of this competition and hereafter in the terms and conditions will be referred to as the ‘Promoter’.

By entering this competition, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to them.

The major prize is supplied by AusIMM and Austmine.

1. There is one major prize to be won. The winner will receive the following: 1x delegate pass to the Global Resources Innovation Expo 2027 (GRX27), and 1x delegate pass to International Mining And Resources Conference + Expo 2026 (IMARC 2026). 
2. The prizes are transferable but not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash or in any other way.
3. There are two entry mechanisms. You can complete both entry mechanisms to gain two entries to the competiton.
   1. Scan your name badge at the AusIMM/Austmine booth at GRX26, supplying your name and contact details to subscribe to receive promotional information from AusIMM, Austmine and GRX. You can opt-out of these communications at any time.
   2. Complete the event survey within the GRX26 app.
4. The winner will be notified by phone and email. If any winner fails to respond within 7 days, the Promotor reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and randomly select a new winner.
5. Entry to the competition is free.
6. Entry to the competition is open to persons over the age of 18 years. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
7. The competition will close at 3:00pm (AEST) on Thursday 7 May 2026.
8. The winning entry will be drawn at random by 4pm on Thursday 7 May 2026. The draw will be randomly selected using the a Random Number Generator online app. 
9. The Promoter of this competition reserves the right to seek verification of the winner’s age and identity and other relevant information. The Promoter’s decision is final and correspondence will not be entered into.
10. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter excludes all liability (including negligence), for any loss or damage of any nature arising out of the Promotion, including, without limitation, any variation in the value of the prize, any tax liability incurred by an entrant and any use of the prize.
11. The competition will be governed by the law of Victoria.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or change the competition terms without notice.
13. By entering the competition you are consenting to the Promoter contacting you at a later date for marketing and promotion purposes. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material in association with the promotion of the competition.
14. If anyone is unsure about any aspect of this competition or if they are unsure about any of the terms and conditions, they are invited to ring the Promoter on 1800 657 985.
15. A maximum of two entries will be accepted per person. More than 2 entries from the same person will be disqualified.
16. The results of the competition will be published in AusIMM PD News email newsletter.
