Rachael's journey is an extraordinary tale of leadership, resilience, and determination. As the second female ever to lead a team at Davis Station and one of the youngest leaders, she successfully managed the 58th Australian National Antarctic Research Expedition, facing the challenges of Antarctica's harsh winter conditions.

In her role, Rachael oversaw all aspects of life on the Station, from the safety and welfare of over 120 expeditioners to the delivery of a $30 million science program. Her story goes beyond the icy landscapes of Antarctica, as she shares her insights on leadership gained from 16 years in senior operational management roles in various challenging environments.
