What are Ore Reserves and how they are different to Mineral Resources (under the JORC Code)?
The workshop is designed to provide an overview of Ore Reserves and their relationship to Mineral Resources under the JORC Code. We will look at the guiding principles, considerations in estimating Ore Reserves, guidelines for public reporting and some of the challenges we face. Presentations will be broken up with some group exercises in making decisions that a typical mining or exploration company faces with public reporting of Ore Reserves. Suitable for people as an introduction to Ore Reserves, those wanting to broaden their understanding, or those in positions to make decisions around reporting of Ore Reserves.
