Lynn Olssen

JORC Executive and Deputy Chair of CRIRSCO

Lynn sits on the JORC Executive and is Deputy Chair of CRIRSCO, the international body governing Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve reporting codes.

She is a geologist and mining executive with more than 30 years’ experience across operations, exploration, consulting and governance. For the last six years she led Rio Tinto's group Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve assurance, accountable for the governance and controls behind public reporting under the ASX, LSE and SEC.

Lynn has a Bachelor of Science from UWA as well as Graduate Certificates in Geostatistics and Corporate Finance. She is a recipient of the 2014 Minerals Council of Australia’s Women in Mining Scholarship for the Australian Institute of Company Director’s Course and was awarded a place on the 100 Inspirational Women in Mining list in 2018.
