About MOLTEN 2024

Welcome to MOLTEN 2024 - Supporting the Transition to Sustainable Technologies

AusIMM is excited to host MOLTEN 2024, the 12th International Conference on Molten Slags, Fluxes, and Salts in Brisbane, Australia from 17 - 19 June 2024.

The conference offers a platform for global researchers, and engineers to share insights and advancements in metallurgical and materials processing, metals recycling, and energy production related to molten substances.

MOLTEN 2024 will bring together top experts to exchange knowledge and discuss innovations in high-temperature processing. With the world transitioning to a circular economy and increasing focus on sustainability, the conference addresses the critical role of metals in new technologies.

High-temperature processing is essential for metal production, refining, and recycling. The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific information to enhance the development of environmentally friendly industrial processes. Join us at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre for three days of engaging sessions, exhibitors and outstanding networking opportunities.
