Having worked across different industries and transformation environments, Megan has found that mining is where technology, people and operational reality collide in the most fascinating way. Her work at Harmony Australasia has given her a front-row seat to the challenge—and opportunity—of transforming the way a modern mining company uses data, technology and digital tools to make better decisions.

At Harmony, Megan is currently working across major digital transformation initiatives, including the Azure Data Lake and Reporting Transformation program and the implementation of MineMage, helping move the business away from fragmented, manual processes towards connected, real-time information and smarter ways of working.

But for Megan, digital transformation isn’t really about technology.

It’s about people, change and what becomes possible when we stop accepting “the way we’ve always done it” as the way things have to be done.
