Abouzar is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer and numerical modelling specialist at Mining One Consultants with over 16 years of experience in operations, geotechnical analysis, design and research. His main expertise lies in applying modern geomechanical tools to geotechnical engineering and design under extreme ground conditions. He has worked on studies involving large open pits and deep, high-stress underground mines. He has authored more than 30 technical papers and articles and he is an AusIMM Chartered Professional and Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland. Abouzar is also the founder of Cavroc, a software company that facilitates cutting-edge geotechnical numerical modelling for all geotechnical engineers in an easy and user-friendly platform without the need for specialised skills.
