AusRock 2027 will bring together mining professionals, researchers and innovators at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 7–9 April 2027.
For more than 20 years, AusRock has been a leading forum for ground control, rock mechanics and geotechnical engineering. Delivered by AusIMM in partnership with UNSW, the conference showcases the latest technical developments, practical solutions and research shaping the future of mining.
Co-chaired by internationally recognised geomechanics and ground control experts Professor Ismet Canbulat and Professor Serkan Saydam, the 2027 conference will provide an invaluable opportunity to share knowledge, tackle industry challenges and connect with peers from around the world.

Abstract submissions are open
AusIMM is now calling for abstract submissions for presentation at AusRock 2027. We welcome papers from variety of science and engineering disciplines including geology, physics, mathematics, mining, civil, environmental, robotics, computer science and data analytics.
