Critical Minerals, Capital and Credibility: Financing Critical Minerals Assets in the Resource Security Era
Global competition for critical minerals continues to accelerate and in doing so, is reshaping supply chains, industrial policy and capital allocation. While governments and investors are mobilising unprecedented funding to secure future supply, the question remains: is capital becoming more available, or simply more selective? Only those companies that are able to align with evolving environmental and social expectations, whilst understanding and successfully navigating the emergence of the ‘Security Premium’ will win the race for capital.
This AusIMM/ERM roundtable will explore how geopolitics, sustainability, and investor expectations are redefining project bankability, and what this means for capital deployment across mining, processing, and the broader critical minerals value chains.
