#IMHS2026 program: Prioritising safety at work

Featuring 55 presentations from seven countries, the new-look #IMHS2026 program brings together global expertise to address the mining industry's most pressing health and safety challenges.

What's different about this program?

Keynote panel sessions

Each morning will begin with a keynote panel featuring industry experts, setting the tone and key themes for the day ahead:

  • Day 1: Health, Wellbeing and Support
  • Day 2: Risk Management / Critical Controls / Procedures & Systemss
  • Day 3: Organisation / Leadership / Culture / Communication

Incubator sessions

These sessions give delegates the opportunity to move beyond the technical program and take part in facilitated discussions with leading operators, researchers, and regulators. Participants will explore the key theme of the day (as above), tackling real-world challenges, emerging ideas and case studies in a collaborative small-group environment.

Designed to encourage fresh thinking, the sessions provide an opportunity to share experiences and learn from peers facing similar challenges. Key insights and outcomes will be captured and shared, creating a valuable record of ideas and actions to drive improvements in mine health and safety. The goal is simple: to ensure delegates leave with new perspectives and ideas they can take back to their organisations and put into action.
