Air Blast Considerations in Coal and Metalliferous Mines

Air blast incidents due to ground failure can occur in all mine types, not just caving operations. This workshop will explain the mechanisms and effects of air blasts, considerations in modelling and assessing the risk of air blasts, and design considerations to mitigate the effects of air blasts.
