SALT LAKE CITY, UT, February 26, 2024- A year after its industry debut, Veracio marks its first anniversary, by proudly introducing a suite of technologies for 2024, each designed to bring next generation of orebody knowledge to today's mining operations.

These announcements (listed below) are supported by a detailed exploration of the shift towards more advanced orebody knowledge in mining, emphasizing the role of technologies like TruScan 2 in modern mine design this exploration has been published by Veracio as whitepaper. Veracio CEO, JT Clark reflects, "Our journey over the past year, from introducing Veracio to the world to now, has been remarkable. Our new technologies, our team's dedication, and our strategic acquisitions like Minalyze have all been steps towards realizing our bigger vision."

Announcements

  1. TruScan 2TM: Featuring HyperXRFTM, this highly anticipated mineralogical solution for Veracio’s award-winning core scanning platform will feature co-registered data streams from both hyperspectral and XRF scanning. The updated platform will be supported by enhanced QA/QC, increased throughput speeds, and versatile scanning of both chips and core. Field trials are commencing in Q2, followed by first deliveries to customers in October 2023.

  2. TruProbeTM: officially launches with an integrated app that pulls together both rig and downhole data. Expanding the on the foundations set by Veracio’s north-seeking TruGyro, TruProbe also features a robust gamma sensor so operators can log for both at the same time. On the rig, the app connects to an azimuth rig aligner and a rig-mounted depth counter. The software in both the handheld app and the cloud drives efficiency and accuracy through a simple, easy-to-use design, while the hardware is integrated with industry-standard running gear for safer, faster operation. Available to order today.

  3. StrataTM: Veracio's cloud technology environment, This consolidated digital platform ensures there are sophisticated software offerings available to pair with all Veracio hardware. Now enriched with logging offerings such as orezone boundary detection, Minalyze’s MinaloggerTM, and a proprietary quantitative image classification tool. For downhole surveying, the seamless connectivity to the TruProbe app along with 3D whole path visualization and easy-to-use data access empower teams to advance their projects no matter where they are in the world. All of these (and more) are accessible today to Veracio hardware customers.

Mike Ravella, Chief of Innovation, highlighted, "This portfolio is just the beginning. We are constantly evolving, aiming to bring next-generation orebody knowledge to the forefront today."

Veracio’s ascent in the global mining industry in 2023 was led by strategic transactions; establishing Veracio as the world leader in core scanning and a fierce competitor in driller-operated tooling. Its collaborations with the AusIMM on Women in Geosciences in Australia, Foran Mining with TruScan in Canada and IDS with TruGyro in the United States exemplify a network that's as diverse as it is robust. These partnerships, fueled by shared visions of innovation and efficiency, demonstrate Veracio's vision to advance the mining industry with smarter data and a smaller environmental footprint.
