We are delighted to announce an exciting program for our International Mining Geology Conference 2022!

Kicking off March 22-23, delegates in Brisbane and online can access a huge range of world class content from interactive panel discussions, dedicated Q&A’s, plus exclusive sessions for industry sponsor and exhibitor pitches.

Our confirmed keynote speakers, Haydon Mort, Geologize Ltd; Kerry Turnock, BHP; Penny Stewart, PETRA; and Scott McManus, Charles Stuart University are set to inspire delegates on the future of mining geology processes. Plus, delegates will hear from a huge range of industry experts presenting throughout the conference on Reconciliation, Fundamentals of Resource Estimation, Geology Mine Plan Integration, Drilling and Sampling/Grade Control, and Software and Technology.

We look forward to introducing two additions to the International Mining Geology Conference 2022, the Young Professionals Program thanks to Rio Tinto, and our brand-new pre-conference webinar.

Young professionals, graduates and students who attend the conference will have the chance to continue their professional development as part of the Young Professionals Program on Thursday March 24. Delegates will have the opportunity to network with industry experts, hear insights specific to their chosen discipline and discover invaluable ways to best kickstart a career in mining.

The pre-conference webinar on Monday March 21 offers on-demand content with insights from leading mining organisations, plus two workshops across the day on an ‘Introduction to Geostatistics’ and ‘Geological risk in mining: Why everyone needs to understand and manage it better’.

The conference will feature exhibition and virtual booths, with interactive sessions for those wanting to ask questions and seek more information on any specific topic. In addition, attendees can access in-person and online networking opportunities, including a networking function, conference dinner, discussion groups, on-demand content and much more.
