John Fry

Manager – Mineral Processing (Brownfields), Sedgman

John Fry is a well-respected subject matter expert and leader at Sedgman. He is the Industry Manager for the Mining and Metals division of Sedgman Prudentia since 2014, working predominantly in the Australian market.

His career spans 20 years, and has focused on plant debottlenecking and expansions, including the evaluation of new technology for unlocking capacity in assets. He has a diverse background across copper, phosphates, zinc, alumina, and uranium, and utilises this experience to ‘cross pollinate’ industry learnings between commodities.

John is a chemical engineer with a dual degree in Commerce and has leveraged his finance experience across numerous consulting roles developing financial models and value driver tree analysis.
