Marcus Goddard is a Brisbane-based PwC Partner and former leader of PwC’s Brisbane audit practice, with experience spanning three global financial centres: London, New York and Brisbane. Over more than 20 years, he has specialised in the mining, energy and utilities sectors, combining deep industry expertise with a strong commercial and international perspective.

Marcus has advised listed and private mining companies on complex accounting, regulatory and financial challenges. He also led PwC’s global mining thought leadership program, helping shape industry best practice and bringing global insights to clients across the Energy, Utilities and Resources sector.
He has led major finance transformations, SAP implementations and process improvement initiatives, and founded PwC’s Brisbane CFO Advisory practice. Drawing on both advisory and operational leadership experience, Marcus is known for his collaborative approach, technical rigour and practical business focus.

Marcus is passionate about helping organisations strengthen governance, transform finance functions and create sustainable value in a rapidly evolving industry.
