Alicia Celliers

Senior Project Engineer, Glencore Zinc Assets Australia
A wife, mum and engineer, Alicia has spent the past three years in Mount Isa with Glencore Zinc Assets Australia, progressing from the MICO Maintenance to Global Studies and now the Demolition Projects team — helping legacy assets make way for new opportunities. Before moving into mining, she delivered Oil & Gas, Renewables and Commercial/Data Centre projects across Africa and the Middle East. Alicia is passionate about practical, big-picture engineering — and keeping life balanced (and fun) with her husband and two little ones.

Aaron Wilhelmsen

Superintendent – Geology, George Fisher Mine
Aaron graduated from James Cook University in 2012 and commenced his career as a Graduate Geologist at George Fisher Mine in 2013. After eight years in the role, he undertook a two-year career change working as an Environmental Scientist and data manager before returning to geology as Senior Mine Geologist with New Century Resources. He later joined Glencore Capital Studies as Senior Project Geologist, contributing to the development of a preliminary resource model for the MIM Tailings Storage Facility and supporting work on the Handlebar Hill and Black Star open cut projects. In early 2025, Aaron was appointed Geology Superintendent at George Fisher Mine, where he continues to apply his technical expertise to resource development and operational geology.
