Thank you to our 2023 partners
In 2023, AusIMM continued to build strong relationships through mutually beneficial partnerships.
Working with industry, government, universities, kindred bodies and media, we have successfully upskilled resources professionals, elevated the profile of the mining industry and its people, showcased innovation, supported the growth of our sector, and strengthened understanding among the community of AusIMM’s role as the peak body.
We have collaborated with our partners to promote best practice and deliver professional development for a global audience through our conference program, Thought Leadership Series, New Professionals Network, New Leaders Summit, and mentoring and scholarships programs.
We have shared our partner’s insights through news items, social media posts, Viewpoint videos, as well as 20 technical webinars and 21 Bulletin articles that covered current topics including critical minerals, tailings management, digital transformation, mineral processing technologies. A new initiative for 2023 was connecting with industry Human Resources (HR) professionals through our ‘HR Connect’ program to discuss attracting and retaining a skilled workforce in mining.
A highlight of 2023 was showcasing outstanding women from our partner organisations during our #CelebratingWomeninMining campaign, part of our International Women’s Day Event Series. Our campaign generated half a million views as we shared their inspiring personal stories and achievements.
Through the Global Minerals Professionals Alliance (GMPA), AusIMM is connected with eight national peak bodies to take a leadership role in promoting technical and professional excellence to the global resources sector. The GMPA is an international forum for professional development, knowledge sharing, business networking, and public information.
We look forward to continuing to work with our partners in 2024.
