The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) is the peak body and trusted voice for people working in the resources sector. Representing a global community from 100 countries, we are committed to supporting people building a professional career in all aspects of the mining industry.

AusIMM was founded in 1893 and operates under a Royal Charter. We have a global community of members, branches and societies, along with influential partnerships with industry, government, education and the community.

We offer outstanding professional development opportunities including world class mining conferences, leadership events, online learning and industry news to help build and accelerate careers. We host local and global networking opportunities to connect professionals with common goals and interests and help build their profile.
