David Taylor is an accomplished mining engineer whose career began at the Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) and has spanned a variety of operational, project management, and leadership roles. Starting with vacation work at Byrnecut in 2005, he progressed through their graduate program, spent formative years underground, and went on to lead projects across multiple sites. Today, David works from Byrnecut’s head office, overseeing innovations and operations and driving the integration of new technologies across the business.
Drawing on his extensive industry experience, David will share practical insights on how to successfully implement new projects and technologies, while navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by diverse teams with different skillsets, backgrounds, and generations.
Following the presentation, participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in a Q&A session with David, gaining further insight into the strategies and lessons that have shaped his career and leadership approach.
