Philip Lindop

Co-Head of Global Metals & Mining Investment Banking, Barclays

Philip Lindop is Co-Head of Global Metals & Mining Investment Banking at Barclays, having over 25 years of Investment Banking experience in the Natural Resources and Metals and Mining sectors. He has advised clients on several cross-border M&A transactions, specifically in the copper, gold, and energy sub-sectors.

Philip joined Barclays in 2012, where he was initially responsible for building an African Investment Banking business for the group, then from 2016, moved to the Natural Resources group, when he assumed leadership for the global Metals and Mining franchise.

Philip holds a BComm (Hons) in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand and an MSc in Economics for Development from Oxford University.

Philip will be speaking at the Critical Minerals Forum during Australian Mining Week 2025.
