Chris is a career journalist and analyst who has focused almost exclusively on the mining space for the past 20 years. He started with the foremost industry titles in Australia before spending a decade in a freelance capacity from London, contributing to several global mastheads and select financial research firms. Chris spent a decade with dual-listed publisher Aspermont, initially as editor of industry flagship, Mining Journal, before launching the group’s research unit then becoming managing editor. He founded industry advisory firm, Harbour, early this year. Chris holds a BSc, BJour, BSc Geology and a CISI Level Three Certificate in Capital Markets and Securities. 

Chris is the Moderator for the Critical Minerals Forum during Australian Mining Week 2025.
