Tim is a founding Director. He is an experienced Mining Engineer with experience across operational, consulting, corporate and mine site based technical roles.
Michelle Lawson
AusIMM Hunter Branch Chair & TACTech Director
With 30+ years’ experience across Energy, Infrastructure, Finance, and Not-for-Profit sectors, Michelle is a skilled leader passionate about authentic leadership, ESG, and diversity. She is CFO and Diocesan Financial Administrator for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, and holds board roles with Essential Energy, AusIMM, the Mark Hughes Foundation, and Banksia Village, as well as serving on the Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee at Central Coast Council.
Recognised with multiple awards — including NSW Women in Mining (2015), 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining (2016), and Excellence in Diversity Programs (2020) — Michelle is also an award-winning contemporary artist whose works have been displayed in Times Square. She is a Chartered Accountant, with a BCom, and a Fellow of CAANZ, Governance Institute, and AusIMM.
Campbell Martin
AusIMM Hunter Student Chapter Secretary
Campbell is studying a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Business at the University of Newcastle and currently holds an undergraduate position at Bengalla Mining Company. As Secretary of the AusIMM Hunter Student Chapter, Campbell is passionate about building a sustainable, future-focused mining industry.
Representing the next generation of leaders, Campbell is dedicated to developing practical and innovative solutions to drive decarbonisation in the sector. Beyond mining, he is a keen runner and mountain biker, having competed in the 100km Convict 100 Mountain Bike Race in 2025.
