May tech talk: Opitclino - Advanced optical navigation for long hole drilling
Join the Kalgoorlie Branch for their May tech talk: Opitclino - Advanced optical navigation for long hole drilling.
About this event
This technical presentation will start with a high-level overview of who Robotic System are, what they do, and then drill down into a technical presentation on Opticlino.
This tech talk will be centred around a new‑to‑the‑world drill navigation system.
Opticlino is a long‑hole drill navigation system that increases the accuracy of long‑hole drilling by double compared to currently available technologies. It also completely revolutionises the workflow by removing the need to complete survey mark‑ups, effectively replicating the same user experience that production drills have on the surface with high‑precision GPS.
Example data that supports the technical validation from site deployments will be included in the presentation.
