Join the Kalgoorlie Branch for their St Barbara's Day event & December tech talk: From exploration to closure - Managing environmental risk.
About this event
This event will bring together industry, innovation, and history - celebrating the spirit of the Western Australian Goldfields and honouring St Barbara’s Day, the patron saint of miners.
The evening will feature a keynote presentation by Max Davies, Regional Australian Manager for Datanest, titled “From Exploration to Closure: Managing Environmental Risk with Better Data.” Max will explore how digital platforms are transforming environmental data collection, management, and reporting - helping mining and consulting teams improve efficiency, demonstrate compliance, and make smarter, data-driven decisions across the full mine life cycle
We welcome representatives from the Western Australian Gold Stealing Detection Unit, who will share insights into their unique role supporting the safety, integrity, and heritage of the Goldfields mining industry.
AusIMM President, Chris Carr, will be in attendance to celebrate our long-standing members and acknowledge their ongoing contribution to mining professionalism and community leadership.
The Branch will hold their Annual Meeting prior to the presentatio at 6.00pm - All members are welcome to attend.
