Join the Southern Queensland Branch In-Person and Livestream for their October tech talk: The Mining Data Revolution - Leveraging new technologies to improve planning, execution and optimisation in mining operations.

About this event

As datasets continue to grow and processes become more interconnected, traditional approaches to how we analyse and act on information to better plan, operate and optimise are struggling to keep pace with the scale, speed, and complexity of modern operations.

This technical talk will explore how emerging technologies can be applied to how we think about our data management, our processes and the way we act on information.  By adopting a “data first mine” mindset and leveraging cloud capability for data storage, processing and analysis the industry has the opportunity to unlock entirely new ways of working, allowing miners to automate decisions and accelerate workflows, paving the way for faster insights, lower costs, and more sustainable operations.
