About this event

The Tasmania Branch invites all AusIMM Tasmania Branch members, fellow geoscientists and mineral industry professionals of any affiliation (plus anyone else) to join these irregular gatherings. They are informal and provide the opportunity to discuss anything geoscientific, or otherwise, over drinks and/or dinner. 

The ‘Hope and Anchor’ is arguably the most historic pub in Hobart, having been continuously licenced since 1807, when the mouth of the Hobart Rivulet was virtually at its front doorstep. Yes, we have been there before (the inaugural HEDG in fact) but we have decided to revisit.
