Join WIMnet Tasmania and The GO Company for their Collaborative Initiative Launch.

About this event

Join us to connect and network in a relaxed setting as we mark the launch of a new initiative delivered by the AusIMM Women in Mining Network Tasmania (WIMnet Tasmania) in collaboration with The GO Company™. The initiative aims to support women working across the mining industry and involves the rollout of ‘GO Packs’ - discreet pouches containing essential feminine hygiene products that are placed in accessible locations on mine sites.

Guest speakers working in the sector will share their experiences around inclusion and diversity and we will hear from Tasmania’s Minister for Building, Industry and Resources Felix Ellis MP about the importance of these sorts of initiatives.

GO Packs will also be presented to companies in recognition of their commitment to creating more supportive and inclusive workplaces. Appetisers and some refreshments provided.

Program:
5.00pm - 6.00pm: Arrival and pre-event networking
6.00pm - 7.00pm: Presentation
