Dr Chris Vernon on AusIMM's Critical Minerals 2025
Dr Chris Vernon is the Chief Research Scientist at CSIRO and one of seven incredible keynote speakers at AusIMM's Critical Minerals Conference 2025.
Since completing a PhD in radiation chemistry and spectroscopy 37 years ago, Chris has been performing and leading applied R&D in minerals processing and refining, principally hydrometallurgy, both in industry and for the last 28 years, at CSIRO.
In this interview he discusses the conference, his upcoming keynote presentation and provides some interesting insights into the industry today.
