Panel title | Building Resilient Landforms

Building on the concept of integrated mine planning to maximise long term value, this panel brings together leaders in mining engineering, geochemistry, erosion, soil science and revegetation to discuss the fundamentals of designing and constructing resilient landforms.  The panel will explore the importance of appropriate materials characterisation, concept and detailed design, execution, and quality control in meeting completion milestones, certification, and relinquishment criteria.  The panel will also explore how early planning, progressive rehabilitation and certification can de-risk landform closure efforts.
