Anton Fouche (AAusIMM) is a Lecturer and Unit Coordinator in the School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University and a PhD researcher exploring how continuous improvement practices can deliver sustainable safety performance outcomes.

With extensive experience across mining, mineral processing, chemical, construction, manufacturing and service industries, Anton has held senior operational and corporate roles in health, hygiene, safety, environment and business improvement. He is a GAICD graduate, Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Practitioner, Shingo Alumni, Prosci Change Management Coach, and ABEF/PNQ Evaluator, with a strong track record in driving safety, productivity and organisational performance improvements.

Anton holds a Master of Occupational Health and Safety from Edith Cowan University, an MBA from Heriot-Watt University, a Management Development Program qualification from the University of South Africa, and a Metallurgical Engineering qualification from the University of Johannesburg. He is also an OHS consultant, leadership coach and advocate for operational excellence.
