Aiden Davies

Senior Manager Project Development, EDL

Aidan is a mechanical engineer by trade, currently working with EDL’s business development team to develop advanced hybrid renewable power station projects for new and existing mining customers.

Previously at EDL, Aidan was responsible for delivering the award-winning Jabiru Hybrid Renewable Project in Kakadu National Park, where cutting edge technology has allowed the power station to be run on 100% renewables during the day. Aidan is proud to have also lead several initiatives to engage local indigenous rangers to leverage their knowledge to protect several threatened species of wildlife during construction and beyond.

Prior to joining EDL, Aidan held several senior roles at Entura, where his work focused on feasibility, planning and design of grid connected wind and solar projects and off-grid hybrid renewable projects.
