Graham Jeffress 

Partner, Principal Geologist and Service Lead - Technical Mining Services

Graham Jeffress is a geologist with more than 35 years' experience across mineral exploration, mining, project evaluation and technical consulting in Australia and internationally, including Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and Kazakhstan. His career has spanned the full mining value chain, from grassroots exploration and resource definition through to mining operations, technical due diligence, independent technical reporting and mineral asset valuation.

As Partner and APAC Lead for ERM's Technical Mining Services team, Graham advises mining companies, investors, lenders and governments on exploration, mineral resources, project development and transactions across the resources sector. Having worked for major mining companies, junior explorers, government agencies and as an independent consultant, he brings perspectives from across the industry on the factors that influence investment, project development and long-term competitiveness.

Graham served as a Federal Councillor of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists for 11 years and has been a member of the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) since 2014. He became Chair of JORC in 2026.
