Dr Braden Dunsmore

Director, Water Solutions & Services, Xylem

Braden Dunsmore is the Australasian Director for Water Solutions & Services at Xylem, a leading global water technology company. He is deeply passionate about advancing water security for communities and customers alike.

Braden holds a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham, a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Exeter, and an MBA from the University of Western Australia.

With approximately 20 years of international experience, he has led businesses across the energy, mining, and chemicals sectors. His career includes senior roles with Smiths PLC, Baker Hughes, and GE, where he was responsible for Baker Hughes’ Operations Support across North America and Chemicals operations in Asia Pacific.

Most recently, Braden served as Vice President at Wyloo, where he led safety and sustainability, and as Executive Director at Baker Hughes, driving growth within the energy transition sector. He has authored numerous scientific and leadership publications and is an active contributor to industry bodies, including the AusIMM and the Energy Institute.
